Dan began playing drums at the age of three, eventually going on to study at Chetham’s School Of Music and The Royal College Of Music. Dan’s love for country music began in 2012 when he came across Rascal Flatt’s ‘What Hurts The Most’ and thanks to Spotify’s related artists, was sent down a rabbit hole of country music, past and present. ‘Nashville Jukebox’ was initally concieved back in 2017 as a side project to performing in musical theatre. Never really expecting it to see the light of day, Dan started transcribing scores for various country songs. In 2018, Dan was offered his first West End chair on the Olivier Award winning (Best New Musical and Outstanding Achievement In Music) production of ‘Come From Away’ and the NJ project was put on the sidelines. Then comes 2019 and the Covid pandemic.
